Understanding the Constitution

Alinsky Tactics Are Being Used to Manipulate Americans into supporting Art. V Convention

Saul Alinsky allegedly said in Rules for Radicals that any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future.

Ever since the Ford & Rockefeller Foundations, some 50 years ago, came up with the Constitution for the Newstates of America, the left has been pushing for an Art. V convention so that they can impose a new Constitution. The conservatives defeated these periodic pushes for a convention. So this time, the left changed tactics: Now they are marketing it to appeal to conservatives. They are telling conservatives a convention is THE ONLY WAY to rein in the federal government.

And they are telling conservatives that elections and nullification – THE REMEDIES OUR FRAMERS ACTUALLY ADVISED – don’t work.

So this is how they have made Americans feel that they have nothing to lose by a convention. Alinsky tactics are being used on the American People.

Several leftist Constitutions – in addition to the Newstates Constitution – are already prepared and waiting for an Art. V convention.

A new Constitution will be needed to transform the United States of America into a member state of the “North American Union”.  Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi Cruz, was on the CFR Task Force to set up this merging of Canada, the US, and Mexico. It sets up a Parliament over the 3 countries. You can read the CFR (Council for Foreign Relations) Report on setting up the North American Union HERE.

Americans!  You better shake the dust off your brains and start using them.  There is not much time left.

  2. YES, WE CAN!

Yes, we can change the United States of America and/or Western culture every few years with new banners, labels, and meaningless slogans. We will call it progress and herald it as humanity’s mass awakening. Ah, the millennials! The gen-X-ers! A new enlightened generation. Bigger, better, smarter, and more progressive than the last. The youth of the nation will eat it up.
“The Taste Of A New Generation!”

Through mixed messages, abstract images, and outright deception we can make enough people confused, angry, or offended about ANYTHING we choose to create public controversy over. We can provide the opposing opinions then give the side of our choosing a platform and a loudspeaker. We can exchange holidays for exclusive special rights days. We can replace traditions with fads. Historical figures with current mainstream idols. Important symbols or artifacts with trendy icons. Over time, we can wipe out U.S. history, tradition, and culture all together.
    “I’m Lovin’ It!”

We can replace prayers with mission statements and pledges. We can encourage a new pledge for our own success and celebrate every success of those who obey us. We can use repetitive oaths of tolerance towards things that were once considered intolerable and call them the great expectations for the things we demand of our followers.
    “Leave The Driving To Us!”

The only people left to be offended will be the rapidly shrinking group of traditional United States Americans and their fanatical devotion to the country it once was.
“Life Is Messy, Clean It Up!”

-Traditional Americanism is being bred out of us. The United States of America is a boiling pot of mixed and mashed diversity and division. American culture is side lined and assimilation is admonished. Foreign influence is encouraged and designed to overwhelm the country through multicultural embrace. Cultures, values, attitudes, and beliefs clash. Unity among all is made impossible. Opportunity dwindles and prosperity for all but a few ceases to exist. Where being an American in America was once considered superior and people the world over strived for the freedom and opportunities America offered. People worked hard, played hard, and prayed hard. We enjoyed legitimate progress and abundant prosperity. Everyone had the opportunity to achieve and to fail, depending on the amount of time, effort, and motivation they committed to their dreams. Individual perseverance paid off and as a result, civilized society moved forward. We were proud to be American, not made to feel guilty because of it.
    “Be All You Can Be!”

Today, far more than ever before in the history of our country, in order to get ahead you must depend on others to grant you opportunities and allow you to pursue your dreams. Your choices are made for you and from early on in life you face the societal label of being “At Risk” for failure. Once this label is applied, you are segregated into a special group and your path is made for you. Someone else has determined you have failed to achieve the standards set for you. You no longer have control over what the standards are or a choice in whether or not to meet them. This is NOT the traditional America in the United States.

We are being transformed into a vast collective of dependent global citizens. If you can’t or don’t pay to play as a team, your benched. Go along to get along. There is no “I” in Team Global.
    “Just Do It!”

    We are a dying breed.
The United States of America has all but lost what made it exceptional.
    “Can You Hear Me Now?!”

    YES WE CAN!

    YES WE CAN!

  5. Hmmm, Article V is a means to amend the Constitution, not to impose a new Constitution. For instance, I’m all for Article V to overturn Citizens United (WOLF-pac anti-corruption approach), where the goal is specific. If Cruz doesn’t like the Constitution, why doesn’t he take Texas and secede? That would be his opportunity to create a new Constitution.

    • No, dear. Delegates to an Art. V convention are invested with that inherent sovereign right of a People to alter or abolish our Form of Government. This has already happened in our Country. Our First Constitution was the Articles of Confederation. On Feb. 21, 1787, and pursuant to Art. XIII of the Articles of Confederation, the Continental Congress called a convention to be held at Philadelphia “for the sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation”. But instead of proposing amendments to the Articles of Confederation, the Delegates proposed an entirely new Constitution – the one we have now.
The new Constitution – the one we have now – also changed the mode of ratification. Whereas the Articles of Confederation required the Continental Congress AND all of the then 13 States to ratify amendments to the Articles of Confederation; the new Constitution provided that it would go into effect when only 9 States ratified it.
These are all historically verifiable FACTS. I have written much on this. For starters, read this – and look up the hyperlinks! https://publiushuldah.wordpress.com/2015/02/01/delegates-to-an-article-v-convention-cant-be-controlled-by-state-laws/

What the convention supporters are telling you is not true. It is the hard left which is behind this push for an Art. V convention. Read the proposed Constitutions which are already prepared!

      • Publius,

You may be correct about their power to create a new Constitution, but you are leaving out the fact that they can’t force it upon us (yet). There would, presumably, be a ratification process during which the thing could still be defeated.

I would also presume that you wouldn’t want to take that chance, and I agree with you there.

  10. Just read this new so-called new constitution. Very scary indeed. Those pushing for a Con-Con or whatever they want to call it, probably hasn’t read this new constitution or even know that it exist. As our Founders declared several times Democracies never last, and right they were. One and only reason, I figured, they decided on a Republican form of government. I believe you are right PH. The people have become weak, lazy and have lost their courage. So Sad!!

  11. PH writes… “Americans! You better shake the dust off your brains and start using them. There is not much time left.”

I have very little hope that Americans any longer possess the intellectual (logical) clarity, spiritual discernment or even the will to see beyond what is spoon fed to them in churches and in the news media. We have become fat, lazy and ripe for the conquering, therefore we are being (have been) conquered. In this mans not so humble opinion it is because the King James Bible is no longer believed and studied. The religion of evolution taught as fact in Americas public indoctrination centers has convinced people of all ages (my elderly parents included) that man is nothing more than an “advanced” animal and that truth is relative to what we believe it to be. Ultimate Truth does not exist. Without Ultimate Truth, anything goes and clearly, anything does in today’s Amerika.

By the way PH, I wrote an essay on Biblical “rightful liberty” a few days back I think you might appreciate. Linked here… https://gracecountrybiblechurch.wordpress.com/2015/10/09/sin-and-the-law-rightful-liberty/

Appreciate what you do here very much.

  12. Thank you PH for your excellent article. We need to emphasize to all the brainwashed “conservatives” pushing for this fraudulent, traitorous Article V Convention of States being pushed by anti-constitutional pimps out there. It is a movement that, as you correctly pointed out, has been around since the post WW-II Rockefeller-funded communists in this country at that time.

  13. Americans better wake up or we are all going to learn a history lesson the hard way.

“…Cities may be rebuilt, and a People reduced to Poverty, may acquire fresh Property: But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever. When the people once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their right of defending the limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every encroachment upon them, they can never regain it.” ~John Adams, letter to Abigail Adams 1775

  14. If we can’t believe in Ted Cruz, a man that grew up learning about the U.S. Constitution and probably is more familiar with it than 99 percent of Americans, then we are in deep, deep trouble. Is every candidate a fraud? I guess it’s time for you to run PH.

    • I have never seen any indication that Cruz has even a passing familiarity with the US Constitution.
He spits on our Constitution by running for President when he is not a “natural Born citizen”. See these two papers: https://publiushuldah.wordpress.com
      /category/natural-born-citizen/
He supports federal background checks on gun purchasers: http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/275809-gop-sen-cruz-calls-for-strengthening-background-check-system-for-gun-sales
He supports a “balanced budget” amendment which shows he is unaware that our Constitution already restricts federal spending to the enumerated powers; or he rejects the existing constitutional standard and thinks that the feds ought to be able to spend on whatever they want. https://publiushuldah.wordpress.com/2015/06/24/states-need-budgets-but-enumerated-powers-limit-federal-spending/

He talks “conservative” and we are told he is the “most consistently conservative” of the candidates; but he is all talk – his actions give the lie to his words: e.g., http://intellectualconservative.com/ted-cruz-in-hot-water-over-support-for-fast-track-and-trans-pacific-partnership/

None of the Republican candidates for the R nomination are worthy. We have lost the national gov’t – the Progressives are in total control.

We should focus on our LOCAL & STATE OFFICES – our only hope is to get Constitutionalists with a spine in our local & state offices. THEY can bring down the national gov’t by nullifying their unconstitutional acts.

      • Hi PH

Since you have been referencing ‘The Matrix’ lately (offering the red pill), I figured you would like this one. Cruz demonstrates that there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path.

From what I have seen from Cruz, his worldview seems to include “the ends justifies the means”. A view also shared by Progressives. So it shouldn’t be a surprise to find that many of the means to obtaining both their end goals are also shared.

It is a bad joke when Ted Cruz talks about this lawless government and restoring the rule of law when he himself is trying to usurp the Presidency, just as Obama did. And not a peep from the other Republican candidates.
